he's a big kid now...
For my technologically unsavvy sister, I thought I would post some pictures of Austin on his first day of preschool! His Spiderman "packpack" is so cool! Wish I had one... Anyways, we were all very excited (and sad) for him to start preschool. We are getting too old!
And since I can't help but post pictures of my daughter, here is a picture of Baby R and I with Austin on his first day. She is Austin's "best buddy." I guess that makes me second best for now...

oh my. i think i could cry looking at those pics. can you send me some more? my first grandchild to head off to school. i AM old!
I know the feeling - I was just reading everyone's blogs this morning - Austin off to pre-school, Karyna is crawling, Reagan is rolling all over and sitting up, and Collin looks like he's heading off to school (no doubt he'll be walking by the time he's 4-5 months old)......Made me feel like I should have had my funeral arrangements already made - we're definitely on the down side of the generations!!
al's comment about being on the down side of the generations... too true i guess, but instead of just feeling old, I think what i feel more is that kind of ache of missing the baby stage. as i watched katie comfort reagan the other day, as she held reagan close to her and whispered softly to her that mama was there...i missed holding my own children and calling myself mama. it was such a bittersweet moment.
If the two of you oldies are really needing a baby fix that badly, I have two little girls who are more than willing to cry about anything. Get them while we're still here!

I can't believe he is in preschool already. He definitly is not a toddler anymore, but a little boy!
