picture perfect

With so much family together (we were only missing Eric - on his Mission in Argentina) we took advantage of taking some family pictures.

Here are all of the Grandkids

Kennedy loved snuggling with her Aunt Jeni

We look forward to a full family reunion next summer after Eric returns!

lots of loving

Kennedy had a great time meeting two more aunts and three more cousins! She didn't mind seeing Amber and Dallas again too! She has smiles and cuddles for everyone!

so much family, so little time

We were so excited to have Jeni and her kids, Amber and Dallas, and Becky all come visit! Reagan was so excited to see them, and still talks about them - especially Addison! We took them to the Melon Fest where Reagan and Addison went in one of those inflatable bounce houses!

Reagan had a sun painted on her face!
Reagan and Addison both rode ponies. (Rick was in charge of the camera, so the picture of Addison was of her back...)
A rousing game of "The Farmer in the Dell"

There never seems to be enough time when the Spauldings visit! We wish they could spend all summer with us! Luckily we get to see Becky, Amber and Dallas a little more frequently.

more miller time

Grandma with her "big" girls!
I totally love this picture of Reagan and Karyna - such sass!
Reagan chatting it up.
Kennedy watching the chaos.
Uncle Jack loves to give tractor rides to the grandkids!
Isn't this another cool picture?!

Too bad the Millers had to go and leave us again... Seriously, what does St. Louis really have to offer??

fall is coming

We have been loving the cooler weather lately! Reagan loves to play with sidewalk chalk in the driveway, and Kennedy loves to watch her!

I dragged the excersaucer up and out of storage, and both girls have enjoyed playing with it!

happy, happy, joy, joy

Kennedy is so expressive these days, and smiles a lot. She is quite a momma's girl, though, so most of her smiles go to me. (I don't mind...) She also talks (coos) a lot. While we were running today, Reagan sang Old McDonald and Kennedy tried to hum along with her. Her dimple is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Here is my best footage of Kennedy rolling over. The video camera memory card was full, so I had to settle for still photos.

the silver lining

The only good thing about dad being in the hospital is that Nick, Allison, Nayeli and Karyna came to visit. Dad is a miracle. He regained consciousness somewhat on monday, but could only remember his immediate family and old memories, nothing recent. He didn't know any of his kids were married or had kids. Then over the last few days he slowly began to remember our spouses and kids and more recent memories. He even retained some of his wit. His kidneys have started functioning a little more, still not nearly enough, but at least they are improving. His liver is doing very poorly though, and his arm is going to require surgery. Thank you for your support and prayers.

We spent the afternoon with my family while dad rested.
We couldn't tear Reagan and Karyna away from the easel!

Attempting to get a picture with all of the grandkids... Yes, this was the best I got!

Reagan's first ice cream cone.

The gang enjoying their cones in the grass.

A little bit messy?

Reagan wore a lot of hers...

Karyna wore some of her ice cream too...

Reagan was on a sugar high after eating most of her cone, and was a little bit giddy!

not again...

Dad is back in the hospital for the third time. That puts him over 70 days in the hospital since Mid-May. Poor Guy! He fell on thursday, gashed his head and broke his right arm. Now he is in congestive heart failure, renal failure, is having seizures, isn't cognizant... the list seems to go on and on. He could really use some prayers right now, along with my mom.
