picture this
Kennedy broke our camera, so you will just have to try to visualize this. Walking in our subdivision down to the little park by the beach. Two girls super excited to take their sandals off and walk in the sand. Kennedy notices the water and makes a mad dash for it. I hold her hand while she walks in the water so she won't fall in, but she manages to soak her onesie anyways. I try to take Kennedy back to the park where Reagan is playing, but she keeps trying to trick us and book it to the water. Meanwhile Reagan wants to swing and they only have regular swings, not bucket swings. She is having fun, holding on for dear life. Kennedy is mad that she keeps getting thwarted in her plans to completely submerge herself in the water (stupid mom didn't think to put her in a swimsuit). So, I hold her hand and walk with her in the water again - both girls are happy. Then Reagan lets go, falls on her face, and begins screaming. She has a skinned knee and chin, and a bloody lip. I pick up Kennedy to go help Daddy calm Reagan down. Kennedy freaks out that we are leaving the water. We walk back to our house with two screaming children, both covered in sand, one soaking wet and one covered in ouchies. Nice night, huh?!

oh, poor kids! evening sounds good until.....
stop making up stories and quit abusing your kids!! ha ha- I only laugh because I have had many a night just like that!!
We totally know what two screaming kids is like!
that is our house most nights at bedtime...
Sounds like a typical family outing!!!
lol! Ahhh, is life ever the picture-perfect scene we would WANT to post?
Sounds all too familiar.
At first when I was reading, I thought you were there alone with the girls. Good thing you had Rick to alleviate some of the drama!
